Robert L. "Bob" Alleshouse Sr. 71 of Dundee died Thursday, February11, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 15, 1938 in Wooster to the late Asa and Sloma (Middaugh) Alleshouse. He retired from DSI at Trail in March 2006, was a former member of the Wayne Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. and was a member of the Believers Assembly Church at Beach City. He was married to Evelyn G. (Stephan) Alleshouse on February 1, 1956 and she preceded him on October 17, 2005. He is survived by his 5 sons Robert Alleshouse Jr. of Dundee, William J. (Mary) Alleshouse of Dover, Rodney E. Alleshouse and John D. Alleshouse both of Dundee, Frank V. (Nancy) Alleshouse of Fresno, 3 daughters Margaret Ann (Robert) Getchy of Dover, Connie Sue (Paul) Dickerhoof of Strasburg, Barbara J. (Ronald) Powell of Dundee, 27 grandchildren including Kristy Dawn Rothacher of the home, 31 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Dave Bevington, Roger Bevington, and Jim Bevington all of Wooster, 5 sisters Betty Rudy of Mansfield, Mary Jane Lockard of Apple Creek, Shirley Dellafave of Wooster, Margaret Ann Mann of Dover, and Noreen Fain of Wooster. In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded by 3 grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek with Pastor W.G. Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County 201 W.
