Diane Y. Andrews 54 of Baltic, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. She was born May 13, 1955 in Holmes County to Lulu (Schnell) Troyer of Sugarcreek and the late Ohlen W. Troyer. She graduated from Hiland High School in 1973 and was a graduate of the Word of Life Bible Institute. She was a teacher's aid for special needs at Garaway School District and a member of the Swiss Wheelers Camp Club. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Dean Andrews, whom she married on August 8, 1981, her son Nathan Andrews of the home, 3 brothers Darrell (Sharon) Troyer of Memphis, Tennessee, Rodney Troyer of Mansfield, Royce (Marlene) Troyer of Sugarcreek, 2 sisters Jody (Don) Hershberger of Sugarcreek, Suzette (Ron) Miller of Sugarcreek, 26 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, father-in-law and step mother Dale (Donna) Andrews of Dover, sister and brother-in-laws Bonnie (Fred) Steinebrey of Dover, Allen (Marilyn) Andrews of South Carolina, and Gail (Christopher) Vaughn of New Philadelphia. In addition to her father, she is preceded by her mother-in-law Margaret Andrews. Services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Union Hill Church at Sugarcreek with Pastor Ed Scaglione officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek and on Thursday from 10 -11 at the church prior to the services. Donations in the name of Diane Andrews can be made to Garaway High School for use in the special needs class.
